Yes, I get paid the big bucks to give the straight girl perspective here at Hot Movies For Her. What the hell am I doing reviewing this full on dyke porno, then? Well, I was looking at the list of nominees for the 2011 Feminist Porn Awards and saw Return of Post Apocalyptic Cowgirls listed. I immediately needed to watch it due to the sheer awesomeness of the title. I’m not familiar with the stars or director Maria Beatty, nor have I seen a ton of movies from Bleu Productions. When I heard the words “post apocalyptic” and “cowgirls” together, I knew there would be some tough girl action, and I love tough girls. Sadly, we don’t have Return of Post Apocalyptic Cowgirls on our site yet, but The Porn Librarian suggested I review part 1 (nominated for 2009 Feminist Porn Awards) instead. I was sold.
As a disclaimer, I do have an appreciation for female on female sex, regardless of what you may have heard.
The set up: The entire movie takes place in an Arizona desert and stars only Surgeon and London. They are all this movie needs. They are the definition of chemistry.
We begin with Surgeon hitchhiking down a long and lonesome highway until London picks her up. Surgeon takes the driver seat over at gun point. Immediately, London puts a condom on Surgeon’s big black strapped on cock and gives her some top notch road head. You know, like you do when you pick up a hitchhiker. Eventually Surgeon pulls over and says, “Fucking slut. You make me so hot I can’t drive.” Um, you had me at “fucking slut”.
Move along to another stop down the road and we get some fantastic car fucking. There is no question that Surgeon is in charge as she ties London’s hands behind the seat with her belt. Sensual kisses, rough nipple play, thigh slapping and armpit licking lead us into Surgeon grinding her knee into London’s jean short covered pussy. With their foreheads mushed together and smirks on their faces, you can tell they are both truly into it, the hottest part of it all.
In the next scene, we get a good view of what these two cowgirls are wearing as they fuck on and around the car. Surgeon is rocking the chaps, gun holster (love), black undies and fence net stockings. London is wearing industrial net stockings and jean shorts. The movie comes to a close with an incredibly intense final scene. They take it inside to an abandoned shack and get to business straight away. Surgeon’s underpants finally come off to reveal her ripped stockings. I don’t care how many times it has been done, ripped fish nets on a nice rump is a site to behold.
London gives Suregon a hard and slow fucking from behind. She remains dominant and ensures London sexes her just the way she wants it. Surgeon is vulnerable, but in charge. She makes amazing noises as she twists, grinds and writhes, eventually crawling on top of the counter. The two carry on until Surgeon comes to a beautiful convulsing real climax.
I’m not going to give away the ending, you’ll have to watch it for yourself.
Before wrapping up, I have to mention the music in this movie. I loved the surf music (some would call it surfabilly) mixed with the haunting ethereal sounds of Lydia Lynch. A voice from the sky would say things like “freedom is just a hallucination”. It was super creepy. I had to take my headphones off every now and then, but it was appropriate for the whole post apocalyptic thing.
Post Apocalyptic Cowgirls is tough girls, domination and submission, hot dyke sex, good music, chaps and an awesome desert setting rolled into one. I highly recommend it and I can’t wait to watch the sequel. I will definitely be getting more familiar with Maria Beatty’s work.
